Spring is finally on the horizon. Snow hasn’t fallen for a few months, but the remnant of the storm is still settled on the ground like a great blanket to cover the land. The sub-zero temperatures have prevented it from melting away, until now. It's been another harsh winter here in the highlands and, as always, not everyone has made it through. Nature's power has done its bidding for God, and the weak have fallen to the cold. As the ice and snow begin to disappear, it is clear that the landscape will soon resemble the dry, rocky terrain to the East. The great Glacier Pass will soon be no more, as the sun and its heat slowly chip away at its being. It will be no more than a memory for yet another year. There are many moments in one’s life which you will, inevitably forget. But I’ll never forget the winter that I lost you, brother...the winter that we lost you. But as I look upon the sapling where your body once lay, I no longer see death. I see a new life blooming in the early sun. For that is what the new season shall bring...Life. And all species, great and small, would do good to remember that.

Don't bother saying something's weird in this piece. I did everything in this image for a reason. So read the story, please.:)

Lol. That story took me forever to write. I love you if you read it.

Easter is all about Jesus and his rebirth. I figured this image fit it well. :3

Yay for my new signature. :D

wow, very pretty picture. i liked the story, too, and while i was reading along it surprised/hurt to me to read the line about where they lost their brother. it leaves the reader curious to know more!
also the image itself is awesome. in a way it is kind of surreal and i think that's really cool. also i cannot believe how much detail you put into this! i would have never had the patience to do it! i especially like the fox and the mountains. oh and also the colors you used to shade the fox are brilliant.
everything looks so realistic :) this is probably one of my favorite pieces from you. great work, as usual. keep it up!
